High speed guardrail board uses the deformation of soil foundation, columns, and beams to absorb collision energy, and forces out of control vehicles to change direction, restore normal driving direction, prevent vehicles from rushing out of the road, protect vehicles and passengers, and reduce losses caused by accidents.
Construction requirements
1. The installation of columns must be carried out on the premise of soil shoulder reinforcement, and should be set up on bridges, channels, and large-span culvert structures. During the installation of guardrail plates in the main project, the installation of columns should first deal with flange plates and foundation bolts.
2. Prepare for construction and provide detailed construction organization. Installation tools include: pile drivers, excavation tools, compaction tools, pliers, hammers and theodolites, level gauges, tape measures, and other measuring tools.
3. When constructing corrugated guardrails, it is necessary to accurately grasp the information of various facilities, especially the precise positions of various pipelines buried in the roadbed. During the construction process, it is not allowed to cause any damage to underground facilities.
Column layout:
1. Set out the columns according to the design drawings, and use bridges, channels, culverts, interchanges, level crossings, etc. as control points for distance measurement and positioning. Set the unit to the lowest position during distance measurement.
2. When setting out columns, adjustment segments can be used to adjust the spacing, and allocation methods can be used to handle the odd number of spacing.
3.After setting out the columns, the foundation status of each column position should be investigated. When encountering underground communication pipelines, drainage pipes, etc., or when the buried depth of the culvert is insufficient, the position of certain columns should be adjusted or fixed with concrete foundation
Column installation:
1. The installation of columns should be consistent with the design drawings and coordinated with the road alignment.
2. The columns should be firmly buried in the soil to the design depth and perpendicular to the road surface.
3. In general road sections, the column can be constructed using the driving method, and precise positioning should be used during construction. When the driving is too deep, the column cannot be partially pulled out for correction. It must be fully pulled out and re driven after the foundation is compacted.
4. When the driving method cannot be used for construction, the drilling construction process can be used. If the filling height of bridge and culvert structures cannot meet the required driving depth of columns, the concrete foundation fixation method can be used.
5.After the column is installed in place, its horizontal and vertical directions should form a smooth linear shape.
6. The transition section and end columns of the guardrail should be installed according to the coordinates specified in the design.
7. ⑦ Because the road surface is constructed in two phases, the installation of the guardrail board shall be carried out according to the reserved holes on the columns specified in the design drawings, and the height of the corrugated guardrail board shall be installed and raised in the order of the first and second phases of the road surface construction.
